You've heard all the success stories of people earning a full time income on eBay. What's great is anyone can do this, and can start immediately. eBay was designed for the everyday person to make some money. Thousands of people do nothing but eBay. Most of them have never had any business training or education. Some have even failed the first and second time doing business on eBay.
How do they do it?
Lots of time and hard work. One of the most important thing is knowing what works. In order to be successful, you have to find a need a fill it. Movies, Games, Books are not something that you can easily break into because there are eBayers who've been doing them for years. For a while, I bought up all the vintage toys I could find and made some pretty good money reselling them. I just didn't have the time to keep it up. A good way to know what to sell is to research what it sells for. After you've signed up for an account, there is a checkbox to view the completed listings. This tells what the item actually sold for and not what someone has priced it at.
You've got to remember the eBay fees. They can get up there if you aren't careful. I would stick to only selling things that would go for at least $10 or more. The best way to be successful is to find a steady supply of a product and stick to it. Dropshipping is another option that many eBay sellers take advantage of. This is when someone purchases an item from you and then you login to the dropshipping program you've signed up for and place the order having the product delivered directly to your customer.
