![]() Okay, so hopefully you have a website designed to sell your products/service and you have been promoting through social networking such as Facebook and Myspace. But you are still not happy with your website results. I've said it before and I'll say it again. Advertising your website is most important thing you can do to get traffic. The site is there to sell your business. Remember people have to find your website before it does them any good. When you do a google search and the results appear, there are sponsored ads on the top right hand part of the screen. These are pay per click ads. The advertiser pays every time someone clicks on their ad and goes to their site. Google also offers an Adsense program which allows webmasters to place Google Ads on their websites. These are also part of the Adwords program. The ads are chosen on relevance to the page you are on. If you are visiting a Cooking Website, you're likely to see Cookbooks for Sale ads. The same goes for you. After you create your campaign, your ads will show up on relevant sites and search results. The best part is you only pay if someone actually clicks your ad and visits your site. Why is this good? Because it is traffic that is already interested in whatever service or product you are providing. It is called Targeted Traffic and is the very best kind to have. I would rather have 10 people who were interested in getting a website designed come to my site as opposed to 1000 people who won't ever need one.
