OK, I Need A Website... What Now? PDF Print E-mail
Articles

**First, you need to decide what information you would like to see on your web site. You can be very brief….only offering the basic information such as name of your company, services offered, location and contact information on a single page or unlimited pages with very detailed information you feel is relative to the needs of your customers and the general public.

**Second, you need someone to professionally design your web site for you. THAT’S ME!! I collect your information, photos, brochures, logos, etc. and professionally design a web page that’s attractive, easy to navigate and understand. My goal is to work closely with you in the designing phase to make sure you get the finished product you’re satisfied with.

**Third, you need somewhere to store your web pages so they can be accessed by all Internet users…..this is called a Web “Server”. I can provide this service for you or you can rent one from a “hosting company.”  I recommend hostgator.

**Fourth, you need your Web site published to the server you have chosen. We can take care of that for you as well. However; if requested, we’ll provide your new information saved on a disk that you can take to the company of your choice to host your Web site.

**Final Step, once your Web site is up and running, there will still be minor maintenances issues…..examples….price changes, added or deleted services, etc. If you need someone to take care of these changes for you, I can do that too! For a small monthly fee, I will maintain your site and make sure that it is kept up-to-date and all elements are working properly
